The Euromiliony lottery can make you a Euromillionaire

Euromiliony is a lottery game operated by Sazka, offering players an enticing reward of several tens to hundreds of millions of crowns and a total of 10 prize tiers. In addition to the main game, there are also two supplementary games where players can also win a significant amount. All it takes is to bet a few lucky numbers and wait for the draw results. Bets can be placed at Sazka branches and retail locations, on their website, or via the Sazka mobile app.

How to play Euromiliony

In this game, players choose 7 numbers from 1 to 35 in the main draw and one additional number from the second draw between 1 – 5. A player can fill out up to 9 columns on a single ticket, and each completed column costs a fixed bet of €1. Players can also choose a random tip or a system bet. For an additional €1, their ticket is also entered into the Eurošance supplementary game, where the numbers are not selected by the player but are either automatically generated or pre-printed on the ticket. Using a subscription, players can also extend the validity of their ticket for up to 16 consecutive rounds.

The Euromiliony lottery is drawn twice a week, every Tuesday and Saturday after 7 p.m. Players can place their final bet by 7:00 p.m. on the draw day. Tickets submitted a few seconds after this cut-off are entered into the next draw. Occasionally, Sazka holds special draws and informs players about these events in advance (at least a week ahead on its website and in branches). If the main prize pool exceeds €6,000,000, the Second Chance supplementary game is automatically activated.

How much you can win in Euromiliony

The main game offers players 10 prize tiers full of cash rewards. The amount won depends on how many numbers the player guesses correctly, including the additional number. If a player guesses all 7 numbers plus the additional number from the second draw, they win the Jackpot, usually amounting to several tens or even hundreds of millions of crowns. The lowest prize requires guessing only 2 numbers from the main draw and one additional number from the second draw, as shown in the table below.

Prize tierNumbers matchedAverage prize
1st7 + 1€3,630,000
2nd7€202,000
3rd6 + 1€4,115

5th5 + 1€115
6th5€35
7th4 + 1€10
8th4€5
9th3 + 1€5
10th2 + 1€5

The exact prize amounts players compete for are constantly changing. All bets placed in the game are continuously accumulated, and 50% of these stakes are transferred to the prize pool. If the prize is not claimed, the remaining funds serve as the base for the next round, to which an additional 50% of the newly placed bets is added. As a result, the prize pool continues to grow until someone wins the Jackpot.

Second Chance

This supplementary game is only active once the Jackpot exceeds €6,000,000. At that point, only €4,800,000 remains in the main pool, and the excess is transferred to the Second Chance prize fund. All tickets placed while the game is active are automatically entered, and players do not pay anything extra – a five-digit code from the betting receipt is entered into the game. From all these codes, 5 winning codes are drawn. The prize amount is determined by the number of columns played or the type of system bet, as shown in the table below.

To participate in this game, simply leave the checkbox on the paper ticket empty, or check it in the online ticket. In the first case, the number used is the five-digit number pre-printed on the paper ticket. If players are playing online, the numbers are automatically generated by the system (it’s also possible to generate new ones). Players win if some of their numbers match the drawn numbers. The prizes in this game are fixed.

Chance of winning

Although Sazka does not publish the most and least frequently drawn numbers on its website, it does offer players access to the complete history of drawn numbers, which they can analyze themselves. Additionally, they state which numbers are the most frequently drawn in the first and second drum. In the first drum, the most frequent number is 22, and the least frequent is 28. In the second drum, number 2 is clearly the most common, while number 5 is rarely drawn.

If players want to increase their chances of success, it is definitely worth analyzing the history of drawn numbers. Even though no strategy works 100% of the time and cannot guarantee the top prize, it at least helps reduce the risk of major financial losses. The chance of winning the main prize decreases with the number of selected numbers, as shown in the table below.

How to claim your winnings

The method of claiming your prize depends on how the bet was placed. If the player played online, they can personally collect an amount of up to €200 per 24 hours at any Sazka retail location, and on selected branches, cashless payouts up to €20030 per week are possible. Higher winnings are automatically credited to the player’s account, from which any amount can be transferred to their bank account.

If the ticket was purchased at a retail branch, winnings up to €40 can be collected at any branch. Winnings up to  €2000 are paid out at any branch, but only with prior arrangement, and winnings up to €10020 are paid out cashlessly at selected Sazka branches. For higher amounts, players must visit the company headquarters in person after arranging collection by phone.
