TradeIt is one of the largest online marketplaces for gaming skins on the internet
Although the skin market may seem small at first glance, the opposite is true. It is no wonder that there is great competition among platforms offering skin trading. Generally, the longer a site has been operating, the more popular it is. TradeIt has been around since 2017 and has managed to amass an impressive collection of skins (the total value of skins on this platform is estimated at up to 5 million euros).
General information
A million visits per month and over 45 million successful trades prove that it is not a scam.
The problem with TradeIt is the price of skins, which is sometimes absurdly overpriced compared to the official Steam marketplace. Additionally, real money cannot be withdrawn from the site (although some review sites claim otherwise, we could not find this option anywhere) and the deposit options are very limited. Because of this,
we believe it lags behind its competitors and we do not recommend this site – unless you find your dream skin there that you can’t find elsewhere. We also fear that the new wave of skin mania due to the release of
Counter Strike 2 will avoid this site for the reasons mentioned above, and the site will slowly fall into oblivion.
Registration
The only possible way to
register is through your Steam account. After logging in, you need to enter your
Trade URL (the TradeIt website will redirect you to it after clicking the link) and enter your email. For trading with real money, you need to go through the
KYC (Know Your Customer) process.
Payment methods
Deposit
Payment when purchasing in the store is made after selecting items to buy (it is not possible to pay with the balance in the TradeIt wallet). This payment can be made either by
cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, and USD Coin) or by
bank card.
When trading skins, you can cover the price difference with your TradeIt balance. This balance can be increased by paying with a
bank card. The site states that this balance can also be topped up via cryptocurrencies, but we could not find this option anywhere.
Withdrawal
When selling skins, the amount is added to your balance on the TradeIt platform, which you can then use to buy another skin and have it sent to your Steam inventory. The second option is to
sell skins for cryptocurrency, but real money cannot be withdrawn directly from the TradeIt website.
Bonuses
First Trade Bonus will return 5% (up to €5) to your TradeIt balance on your first trade. There is also a
welcome bonus of 35% for the first deposit of real money. The platform also offers hourly, daily, and monthly skin giveaways – you get tickets for these after each trade.

Marketplace features
Trade is for classic skin trading; if necessary, the price difference can be covered by payment. Under the
Store tab, you can find a selection of many skins to purchase (payment is made at the completion of the purchase, you cannot pay with your TradeIt account balance). The last feature is hidden under the
Sell tab: here you sell skins from your inventory (either for your TradeIt account balance or for cryptocurrencies).
The sale itself supports only cosmetic game items from
CS:GO, while Store and Trade support
Dota 2, Team Fortress 2, and
CS:GO skins, as well as regular Steam inventory items (emojis, stickers…).
VIP Program
The TradeIt marketplace does not offer any VIP program.
License
In principle, it is an online marketplace/online store. The operator is a registered business entity, but there is no official license for trading game cosmetics.
Application
You cannot download a mobile app, as there is none available at the moment, but that does not prevent you from trading via your mobile phone or tablet.
The website is fully responsive, so it is up to you which device you use to access TradeIt.
Contact
Some review sites mention the possibility of live chat support, but we could not find it anywhere. Email to customer support is the only reliable form of communication – you can find it in the footer of the website under the
envelope icon. Clicking it opens a window where you enter your email address to receive a response and write your message. However, it is true that users often complain about slow responses.
