Live broadcasts of UFC are now offered by the sports channel Nova Sport 6.
UFC is an organization that almost every fighter dreams of joining at least once in their career. The biggest stars from around the world, epic gala evenings held in the largest arenas, and above all, the highest quality fights and excellent sporting spectacles. This is how the overseas UFC organization can be described. Currently, Czech viewers are most interested in Jiří “Denisa” Procházka, the first Czech fighter in history to win a UFC championship belt, which he unfortunately lost due to injury. However, Procházka is not the only Czech fighter competing in the organization. Fans from the Czech Republic can also look forward to other names such as David Dvořák, Makhmud Muradov, Lucie Pudilová, and Tereza Bledá. Now let’s move on to where you can watch UFC live.
Previously, live broadcasts of tournaments from the world’s most prestigious MMA organization were available on the Premier Sport channel, but that changed in 2024. Broadcast rights for UFC are now held by the TV station Nova Sport, which will bring UFC fights to viewers via the Nova Sport 6 channel. Fans of combat sports will also be pleased to know that under the Nova Sport brand, they can also watch broadcasts from the prestigious Polish MMA organization KSW. Specifically, KSW is available on Nova Sport 2.
Where can you subscribe to the Nova Sport 6 channel? In general, Nova Sport channels are available through several providers, including MAGENTA TV, O2 TV, Skylink LIVE TV, and Telly TV. However, be careful when choosing, as not all providers offer the same channels — Nova Sport 6, which broadcasts UFC fights, is currently offered to Czech viewers only by O2 TV and Telly TV.
Another way to watch the famous UFC is through live streams, which can be divided into two basic categories: paid streams and free streams. The main advantage of paid streams is undoubtedly their quality, while the downside is their often excessive price. Free streams, on the other hand, usually lack in quality and are more of a punishment than an experience for viewers. The biggest disadvantages of these streams include poor video quality, endless pop-up ads, and frequent technical issues.
Great news for all fans of the overseas UFC organization! Just like live broadcasts of domestic Oktagon events (if you want to learn more about watching Oktagon, check out our article “Where to watch Oktagon?”), live UFC broadcasts are also available at the bookmakers Chance and Tipsport in the Chance TV and Tipsport TV sections. The only thing you need to watch live broadcasts through these bookmakers is to have a registered player account with one of them and also have placed at least one bet of €5 in the past month.
Getting into the prestigious UFC is no easy feat — the fact that only seven fighters from the Czech Republic have ever competed in it is proof of that. The first Czech fighter in the American organization was Karlos “Terminator” Vémola, who fought in the UFC from 2010 to 2013. He was followed by Viktor Pešta, who fought in the U.S. from 2014 to 2017. Currently, the Czech Republic has five representatives in the UFC. Among men, the Czech Republic is represented by Jiří “Denisa” Procházka, David “The Undertaker” Dvořák, and Makhmud “Mach” Muradov, while the women’s roster includes Lucie Pudilová and Tereza Bledá.
In the following video, you can relive Jiří Procházka’s title fight against then-champion Glover Teixeira from Brazil, where the Czech fighter became the first UFC champion from the Czech Republic in history.
